About Kayo Fine Chemicals

About Kayo Fine Chemicals

Kayo Fine Chemicals was started in 2006 by Kathy Odendaal, a lady with a wealth of knowledge in the chemical industry. The company name of “Kayo” was her idea and was made up using elements of her own name. Tracy de Bruyn, equally as knowledgeable in the industry, worked side-by-side with Kathy and took over the business ten months later, when Kathy passed away.

With Tracy at the helm of the company, business grew in leaps and bounds over the years, to become a company providing a service that is unmatched in the industry. Kayo Fine Chemicals, a Level 4 B-BBEEE status company, started off supplying chemicals to only the food industry, but has expanded over time and now supplies industrial chemicals to a wide variety of businesses, as well as chemicals to poultry farms.

To ensure that clients receive the type of high quality products they are looking for, Kayo makes sure to use only the highest quality chemicals and materials sourced both locally and internationally, which have been manufactured to the strictest of quality control standards
